Sandra Twaalfhoven lives in The Netherlands in a 300 year old farmhouse which she and her family restored in traditional style. As a professional chef she creates dishes with exquisite flavors and complements these with great attention to decorative detail. In the 1990’s Sandra started working with clay in order to enhance her culinary creations with beautifully decorated bowls and plates. Later in her career she created the Hare, the Ram, the Horse, the Girl at the water’s edge and the Dancer tying her shoes.

As clay sculptures are fragile by nature some of the above mentioned objects have been preserved in bronze. As an example just two Ram’s were cast to date, making them highly exclusive to adorn your home.
